Background and Aim: As for the importance of ability to plan and the speed of processing information in patients with multiple sclerosis and the role of other factors such as depression, anxiety and stress in the performance of this research was conducted in 92 centers in Tehran MS Society. Materials and Methods: This study is based on historical homogeneity and was conducted on 54 patients with the diagnosis of relapsing multiple sclerosis and 54 controls. DASS-2 questionnaire and computerized Tower of London test were administered among selected samples. Results: Results show significant difference on planning and processing information speed between the two groups. There were differences on cognitive function with considering the level of depression, anxiety and stress. Conclusion: MS disease can be resulted to impairment in sustained planning and speed of processing information. Moreover, depression anxiety and stress intensify these cognitive impairments.
