Abstract

Background and Aim: According to stress-related variables among students can be useful in understanding the nature of these variables so the aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between self-efficacy and perfectionism with academic burnout.

Materials and Methods: The research method was descriptive-correlation and statistical population included all undergraduate students at Razi University in Kermanshah were in the academic year 1394-1395. The stratified random sampling a sample of 380 people were selected using Cochran formula. Furthermore, data were analyzed using Pearson correlation and regression analysis. The instrument used for data collection; General Self-Efficacy beliefs questionnaire (GSE-10), Ahvaz Perfectionism Scale (APS) and academic burnout questionnaire was Barcoo.

Results: After the fata was analyzed using Pearson correlation and regression resolution. The results showed that self-efficacy is a significant negative relationship with academic burnout, the results also indicate that positive perfectionism the negative and significant and negative perfectionism, the predictors positive significant of academic burnout.

Conclusion: So it can be concluded that self- Efficacy and perfectionism their can predict academic burnout in students.
